ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Skylar Robinson is a junior and the founder of Faith and Formulas, a purpose-driven platform created to help girls of all ages explore and thrive in STEM fields through the power of confidence and faith.
​
Skylar’s journey began in middle school, where she was the only girl on her math team. That experience opened her eyes to how few girls felt seen, supported, or encouraged to pursue science and math—and it sparked the vision behind Faith and Formulas.
​
A devoted Christian and passionate advocate for equity in healthcare, Skylar uses her platform to merge science and spirituality. Through her blog, in-person STEM events, and podcast, she shares the stories of trailblazing women in STEM while helping girls build the confidence to become innovators in their own right.
​
Skylar has been recognized by Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for her award-winning work addressing medical inequities in communities of color. With every project, she reminds girls that they don’t have to choose between brilliance and belief—they can lead with both.
​
Through Faith and Formulas, Skylar gives girls the courage to believe in something bigger—whether that’s God or a higher power—so they can boldly pursue careers in spaces where they’ve been underrepresented.

At its heart, Faith and Formulas is growing a generation of STEMinists: girls who are faith-filled, fearless, and ready to reshape the world.

At Faith and Formulas, we’re more than just a STEM platform. We are a purpose-driven community where girls are empowered to lead, create, and inspire through faith and innovation. What makes us different is our commitment to mentorship and meaningful impact. We partner with organizations like the Boys and Girls Club to give girls real opportunities to share their passions in science, technology, engineering, and math. Each girl selects an area of STEM she feels connected to and designs a hands-on outreach project that serves and educates her community. Beyond the projects, we mentor each participant to grow into a confident, capable leader. At Faith and Formulas, girls don’t just explore STEM—they become future innovators who are ready to make a difference.
